Senator Mark Kirk Releases Recovery Video (Updated))
Hey, how cool is this? Senator Mark Kirk has released the first public video of his recovery since his stroke. It's amazing to see how hard he is working in his rehab to get back in the saddle. Go Mark!!!
As predicted, the ever-negative Shrill woman posted the video and had her usual nasty, vindictive remark that she posted since nobody else had done so. Shame on this woman. Ms. Gill knows nothing about what she's writing, as usual. Our Senator does not need a service dog. What our Senator IS receiving from people nation-wide is applause for his exceptionally strong come back after a serious stroke and surgeries. It's just sad that even now Ms. Gill resorts to her true self.
Ellen Beth Gill is just a rotten person and deserves to be judged harshly. I sincerely hope our paths cross so she can help me understand her position to ridicule and offend someone who suffered a stroke. People who treat others in this manner typically find themselves morally and ethically bankrupt wondering what went wrong as they themselves lay in bed with some kind of illness...even down to her painful end.
It was very encouraging to see this video of Senator Kirk's progress. I know that his journey to this point has been difficult. Your support plays a more important role than you will ever know.
But why take this thread as an opportunity to go after Gill again? Her suggestion of a service dog is actually well-founded. Service dogs often play an important role in a stroke victim's return to their every-day life. But more importantly, the commenters on this blog seem unable to avoid the negativity and outlandish indictments of anyone speaking anything but the party line. Give it a rest. Enjoy the positive energy and strength it took for the Senator to get this far, and, who knows, your day might be better as well.
Just call me Team America. "TA" for short. I'm a lawyer (but a nice guy nevertheless), family man, moderate Republican and active in local politics, but someone who tries to keep an open mind and a healthy respect for differing views. While I may disagree with what you say, I will defend to the death your right to say it.

Finally! The Senator's supporters, volunteers and constituents needed to see his progress. Thank you.

It is great to see the Senator up and fighting. May G-d grant a complete recovery.
