Is Imitation Really the Sincerest Form of Flattery? Visit the Bizzaro Team America for Kicks

TA regulars will get a kick out of this.

There's a new Dem blog in town named Blue Lake Special. (Is that supposed to be a play on Blue Light Special, of the old K-Mart days? I would have picked a different name...)

The format of the Blue Lake Special Blog seems somehow... familiar.... not to mention even more familiar if you compare it with the equivalent TA post (today's topic was State Senator Matt Murphy). Blue Lake could probably save some time if they just left a post up that essentially said, DON'T BELIEVE TEAM AMERICA! It'd probably be just as effective for their target audience.

I'm just surprised that it took them so long to come up with the Bizzaro-world version of Team America, since Ellen clearly isn't getting the job done in the counter-propaganda war.

Blue Lake has already stooped to stealing our photos without accreditation, but that should surprise no one who understands the Obama mentality of ignoring hard work and private property rights of individuals.

I'm not too worried about a little competition from another dimension. After all, Superman always triumphed in the end....

Back to our regular programming shortly.

Pain in the Ellen is off the reservation. I don't see her and Bond being BFF unless he becomes a self-hating male and opponent of Israel like the pupmeister. I also anticipate the wane of the 10th dems as one thing I learned from working in the bush administration was that nothing makes a party want power less than having power.

The bizzaro TA blog, reads like something written by a mid level democrat hack from the city who didn't get an obama ticket to a bs job as an aide in some b.s. agency in d.c. my guess is HUD or EPA since obama's crowd doesn't seem to like guns or be mature enough for treasury or state.

I've never heard the term northeastern Illinois used to describe the tenth. We are either the north shore (wilmette to lake forest) or just xyz town.

I look forward to seeing this blog, but again you've defeated other rivals-ellen, some clown in lake forest she used to link to and others.

I didn't get a kick, TA, but I did get a pain where none is needed. What a twisted and disgusting attempt to further slam Mr. Kirk. Is this the work of the catwoman?

I think they may be going for Blue Plate Special.

TA, is that YOU in the picture? You been working out lately? : -)

Yes, it is, Lou. And as you can see from my expression, the Dems really have me pissed off.

Hahaha thanks TA, I needed a laugh and Blue Lake’s “Patriotic Retirement Plan” (second post) did the trick. I’m beginning to think that progressive is just a more PC way of calling someone mathematically challenged. Let’s see if they are as quick to delete dissenting posts as the cat woman.

Like Team America was a pioneer in the blogosphere. I think the elitism and disdain on this side of the aisle is getting old.
(Pre-emptive strike: If Ellen jumped in the lake would you?)
Of course the GOP cannot welcome more debate in the mix and has to label, ignore substantive content, and cast dispersions.

If Obama is an empty-suit, Bush must have been an empty head (when cheney's hand wasn't controlling it).
When one gladly embraced Bush and rubber-stamped everything he did (no, not his business failures, and military avoidance), one should be more careful about how they refer to the President of the United States.
What's next, bashing community organizers? Oh wait, Rudy and Sara already did that. I don't think the NASW and political/campaign consultants were pleased.

Anon,

From having worked in Bush 41-mark was at inter-american affairs, I was at Near Eastern Affairs (middle east), I can tell you that the only thing that separates Israel from losing its last line of support in the US is the domestic jewish israel lobby. People like pain in the ellen are dangerous because they question that. I for one don't want to see Israel wiped off the map like she does. What's more the democrats up here that bash republicans are really enablers for the corrupt thugs in the city and for you all to call ta partisan is pathetic. THere are real partisan conservative republicans, they have stars and bars, donate to the nra, don't believe in abortion even in the case of rape, and send kids to schools where boys and girls can't be in the same room together alone until marriage. we aren't them.

FOKLAES is already on record endorsing Team for State Senate, Matt Murphy for Governor, Doug O'Brien-former Kirk chief of staff for kirk's seat, and providing he gets some balls and starts voting like a republican, kirk for senate. That said I like the tone of dan proft. As a republican committeemen nothing pisses me off more than the fact that this blog has more gop spirit than our dear leader mckenna. Proft is a nut and I look forward to some of his b.s. but he's right that our party can't go forward with the current b.s. leadership.

Cubs blew it again. Wonder if we can send them to that island patti blagoyevich is on or at least gitmo.

Actually I like the Eye on Lake County Blog!

We're talking about the Blue Lake Special Blog, not Eye on Lake County, which I happen to like as well.
