New Commercial From Coulson For Congress, Plus Bob Churchill on the Stump For Coulson

Here's a brand-new commercial from Coulson for Congress:

Also, here's Bob Churchill, former State Rep and long-time Lake County politico (and a staunch conservative, interestingly), introducing Coulson at a recent campaign event in Libertyville:

Wow. I'm all for Coulson, but that ad blows chunks.

Are you freaking kidding me Coulson campaign? That's what you came up with? a boring as hell ad full of still photos? This is the year of excitement, enthusiasm and energy for Republicans and you make Coulson look like the typical tea tottler from the north shore. What happened? did she forget her hermes scarf in the jag?

Scrap this thing and get it right.

This commercial looks like it was produced by PBS in 1982

This commercial sums up Coulson and her campaign. Uninspiring and not ready for prime time. If it is Seals v. Coulson he wins with at least 55%.

Agreed, this commercial undercuts Coulson's meme that she is the only one equipped to win in November. To release a commercial of this low quality demonstrates that she is unable to win.

Wake up, 10th District Republicans...If we nominate Coakley, we'll get slaughtered in November.

And we'll deserve it.

Leave it to us to screw it up in a year when the GOP is surging.

Coakley = loss

Yeah, the ad isn't the best in the world, but I would.go so far as saying that she is Coakley. It's a decent ad, not great but far from horrible.

Frankly, from what I've seen, Coulson is the moderate who has a history of beating Democrats; just what this district needs

I see they disabled the comments on the ad...Must not have been polling very well.

Not sure this means anything or not, but Dold's youtube page has a total number of views of 10,000...

Coulson's is at 800 views.

Dold's youtube should have 10,000 hits - I heard they're making employees at the bug plant and staffers view it 20 times a day every day...

Maybe if Team Dold were more honest and forthright, their candidate would be doing better. Now, it's just desperate digs...against Coulson...against Green...against Friedman...get some sun or something and cheer up a little - you're bringing everyone down.

Hey 3:40...You forgot your hacky "Daddy's Company" comments. What's wrong? You're slipping.

And you're right...Dold is relentlessly attacking Green & Friedman because they are so far ahead of him.

Cogent, cogent stuff.

Hey Anonymous 4:00:

Must be someone else posting the "Daddy's company" - but glad you brought it up. Obviously I'm not the only one noticing a lack of personal accomplishments.

sorry, 4:45...I had the wrong hack. Will you ever forgive me?

To say that Green and Friedman are ahead of Dold is a joke. No one even knows their names. Are they still in the race?

Go Friedman!!!

Here is a nice clip where Beth Coulson refused to endorse Mark Kirk over Uber Democrat Gash

Team Dold:

In your desperate attempt to bring down Beth Coulson you are revealing your true colors and your appeal is dropping daily.

Perhaps a call to Congressman Kirk is in order. Let's ask him if Beth Coulson's team passed his (Kirk's) literature in 2000, and let's put another lie to rest.

TA - your call? I know folks that worked tremendously hard for Mark Kirk in 2000 and I'm sure they'd be willing to report (with their names included).

This is what I don't get about Coulson. The video is plain enough for anyone to see. It isn't Dold's fault that Coulson didn't endorse Kirk that day, its Coulson's fault.

How is posting a video a lie???? Coulson trolls won't answer that. She just deflect and distract and blame. Beth, Dold wasn't being interviewed that day, it was you.

Just like she runs away from her record, she runs away from her videos. Stop blaming Dold for your bad votes and disloyalty to Kirk and Republicans. Take responsibility for your actions. Stand up for your record.

Dold, I think, is the best candidate in the race. However, he is playing "candidate". Coulson is a weak candidate but she is the candidate. Dold needed to make a call to action on Beth while he was filming his video montages and looking at himself in the mirror. Missed opportunity by Dold.

Beth does not have good presentation but could be an effective Congressperson. It comes down to turning out your people. Dold on TV and going negative. Coulson on phones and in the mail. I had three highly respected people in my town contact me to vote for Beth.

NRCC

I was thinking about Dold until I got a rather silly comparative piece-- and negative-- in the mail.

He is now just like all the rest. Whoever advised him to do this blew it.

Also, it's also painfully obvious he has no record if one looks at the mailer. Real cool to have no record and blast the other party (on some really twisted citations).

Bob. You blew it. Shame.

If Friedman doesn't pull an upset next Tuesday, he should stick around and be active in the 10th GOP. NRCC, HE may be our best candidate and it is unfortunate Arie did not get off the starting line at the same time as everyone else.

Why did Coulson tout the Edgar endorsement and not include the Porter endorsement on her commercial. Does she have another commercial coming out with Porter on it? Her campaign is perplexing...

It will be interesting to see the total GOP vs. Dem primary vote count next Tuesday. I still believe Pup is a deeply flawed candidate and will be easier to defeat in November than JH.

Team Dold Tour Bus going around the district for the next 6 days...simply awesome. Professional...ready for the big leagues...
