In IL-10, Mark Kirk Reports Raising $850,000 This Quarter, $4.6 Million This Cycle

The Chicago Tribune reports that 10th District Congressman Mark Kirk has raised $850,000 this past quarter, for a total of $4.6 million this cycle -- more than $1.4 million than his campaign raised in the 2006 cycle.

Meanwhile, we expect Dan Seals to have fallen further behind Kirk, but he has not yet released his numbers. Seals is expected to continue to lean heavily on the DCCC and other outside interests, such as NY Congressman Charlie Rangel, to try to make up for Kirk's heavy fundraising advantage.

$850,000 Kirk raised for just this quarter? And he raised $900,000 last quarter.

No announcement from Seals shows Dan's campaign is losing momenetum.

The people that know what they are talking about in Washington, Charlie Cook, Rothenberg ect, have already written Dan off the way this district has.

That of course was before Mark raised 4.7 million dollars to attack Dan.

no comment from Seals because they are now scrambling to find more money to stuff into the last quarter -- and hope nobody finds out they broke the law....

Seals raised a total of under $850,000 on Act Blue for this entire 2 year cycle while Mark Kirk raised over $852,800 for the past 2 months. 2 months, folks, not 2 years. People are showing support and respect for Mark Kirk the only way they can: thru support of and to his campaign. Seals relies on scum bags like Rangel and the ever present largesse of the DCCC.

Having said all that, we have 31 tough days ahead of us. I just saw the most outrageous piece attacking Mark Kirk based on nothing but lies, falsehoods and disgusting charges. Getting the truth out into the district to combat what the Democrats and the unions are doing takes money and more money. The more they throw this filth at Mark the easier it is to raise money to combat it. And it's being done each and every day. For those who haven't seen the Tribune Editorial Board video between the real deal, our Congressman Kirk, and the Pup, watch it if you can. Proof positive that the Pup needs to get the heck out of here and never come back. What a poor excuse for a candidate.

Looks like others are buying TV for Kirk. I see 5 Kirk ads for every Seals ad. It feels to me like Seals is really losing steam.

That's a great video that should be sent to everyone. Mark totally outclasses Dan who looks like a 2nd grader during reading time. Dan is a noun, a verb, a smirk, and Bush.
