Newspaper Endorsements Continue to Roll in For Mark Kirk

This one's from the Pioneer Press. Though they take a few issues with Kirk, the Pioneer Press editors tag Kirk as the best choice for the 10th, even though it leans Democratic. They don't even mention second-time Dem challenger Dan Seals, even as an afterthought. Ouch.

Kirk also got the Lake County News Sun endorsement last week.

Media endorsements: Kirk 2, Seals 0.

Maybe that's why Seals's campaign manager, Patrick Mogge, was caught by Northbrook police skulking around the Kirk parking lot last night.

Pioneer Press is an underrated and growing media force on the North Shore, and their endorsement translated into the vernacular essentially reads: leave carpetbagger.

All politics is local, and Dan's claptrap is not.

Sun-Times aka Obama message machine central is the only endorsement I fear we may not get.

Waukegan Whispers- I followed up on your comments and the Northbrook police have no idea what you're talking about. Do you have any proof, or are you just trying to start rumors?

Seals is enough of a lame-o that we just need to publicize the crap he DOES do; we don't need to start making stuff up. Of course, if you have a way to prove what you're saying, we'd be all ears...

DCCC promised Dan 1.4 million. They have thus far spent 400k. This may be a sign with 3 weeks left to go, that they are dumping him...?

If they spent $400,000 for Seals, how come Kirk has receved all the newspaper endorsements?

Seals lost the Sierra Club
Seals lost Planned Parenthood
Seals lost the National Ed Assn.

At this point in campaigns the parties decide who they think can win and thus spend money on, and who they think won't win and thus cut off. If they are cutting Dan off, and at present pace they won't make it to their promised support it's a sign they think Mark is looking strong. This is undoubtedly demoralizing for team pup.

Dan also has a new ugly ad up using a veteran to attack mark. gutless.

what's up with all the kirk signs on the highway on ramps on the edens? last thing we need is the campaign getting in trouble with the highway authorities, that's seals job!
